Academic Equipment & Tools

Why we need Equipment & Tools

In an engineering education environment where curriculum is continually evolving and creativity has endless possibilities, the resources for equipment and tools are at a premium. Olin students, faculty and staff create new and inspiring projects all the time and this fund helps provide additional resources for items as needed throughout the year.

We are working on re-imagining not only the shops across campus, but also areas like the library with an emphasis on enabling and supporting student autonomy and providing support to students, faculty and staff in endeavors as diverse as personal projects, engineering research, coursework, and student teams. The tool and equipment needs of our on campus community continue to evolve as we advance our innovative engineering curriculum.

Your Impact

Your gift today will provide immediate resources to students, faculty and staff as they prepare for the rest of the academic year and the upcoming summer full of research and discovery opportunities. Olin is never short on demands for additional equipment and tools, so every dollar is appreciated as you consider your philanthropy this year in support of Olin Giving Day. Thank you!
