This year, a team of eight Olin students will spend their spring break in Exmore, Virginia, building affordable homes with the local Habitat for Humanity chapter and they need your help to get there!
Habitat for Humanity partners with people in the community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers, pay an affordable mortgage, and achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families.
Your contribution will help students fund airfare and ground transportation to Exmore so that they can assist in the construction of housing for low-income families. We are so excited to be going on this journey together - thank you for your support!
This project is coordinated by the SERV, the organization to Support, Encourage, and Recognize Volunteerism at Olin.
Your donation of $50 will help a student pay for their meals during the trip!
In order to help cover the cost of the trip, students attending are asked to contribute $250. Through your donation, this fee will be waived for one student.
Your donation of $340 will help cover the airfare for one student.
Students will be flying to Norfolk International Airport, and then renting a car to drive to Exmore. Your donation of $500 will help cover the car rental for the week.
